2019-2020 Returning Student Registration Information

Links for online registration and updates of information in the PowerSchool Parent Portal will go live at 2PM on August 20.  A notice will be sent out to the parents of returning students when the system is ready.  

To complete returning student registration, log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal and select Returning Student Registration from the menu on the left.  

The registration forms will look different from those we used last year.  Parents will be presented with a series of pages to complete rather than a single long form.  We hope you will find it easier to use.

Paper registration forms for 2019-2020 are available if they are desired.  Parents of returning students who prefer to complete paper forms may pick them up in the Main Office.
 

New Student Registration Instructions

The parents of all new students must provide the following information.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:  All required documentation must be submitted before your child/children begin school.
  • Your child’s ORIGINAL Birth Certificate with a seal. We will make a copy for our records.
  • Proof of Residency-(i.e. Signed Purchase & Sales Agreement to be updated with a Settlement Sheet upon closing, a recent tax bill, or if renting, a rental agreement). If you are living with a related or non-related resident of Chester, please provide a Notarized Statement with the owner’s recent utility bill. If you already have a child attending Chester Academy, this information will not need to be resubmitted.
  • Your child’s up-to-date immunization records, and proof of a recent physical within a year of entering Chester Academy. This information must be reviewed, and approved by our school nurse, before your child/children may enter school. Please call the health office if you have any questions or concerns at x135.
In addition parents/guardians will need to complete the following forms:
  1. Data, Contact, and Dismissal Form (1 per child)
  2. Health History Form (1 per child)
  3. Multiple Response Form (1 per family)
These forms must be returned to the main office prior to the start of the school year.
