Principal Vacancy Screening Process and Timeline

The School Board has put in place a process for hiring a new Principal.   We encourage staff and members of the community to review this process.  The Board will meet with staff on the afternoon of February 1st to seek input on the characteristics and qualities they hope to find in candidates for the position.   At 5:30 PM on that same day, the School Board will hold a public forum for members of the community to provide input on the same topic.  Those seeking to provide input but unable to attend the forum, may send written input to the Superintendent’s Office by Monday, January 30, 2017.

Screening Committee

Should you wish to participate as a Screening Committee member, please submit a brief letter of interest to the Superintendent’s office either in writing or electronically by emailing hr@chesteracademy.org by the end of the business day on Monday, January 30, 2017.  Please note the timeline and meeting expectations of participation as a Screening Committee member detailed on the attached document.
