Summer Food Service Program

WatermelonThe U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), also known as the Summer Meals Program, provides kids and teens in low-income areas free meals when school is out.

What is the Summer Food Service Program? The SFSP is a federally-funded, state-administered program. The SFSP providers free healthy meals to children and teens in low-income areas during the summer months when school is not in session.

Who Does the Program Serve? The SFSP serves children and teens age 18 and younger.

YMCA After School Program

The YMCA is offering an after school program at Chester Academy. 
Two day, three day and five day options are available for the 2018 - 2019 school year.  The program runs daily from the end of the school day until 6pm.

That’s why our school age programs focus on providing a safe and healthy place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance through the Y’s values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
