GRADE FOUR SUPPLY LIST

 

Class Supplies

• One 3-ring binder (1 ½ inch size) - No trapper keepers of zip-up binders please!
• Notebook dividers with index tabs
• Wide lined notebook paper for 3 ring binder
• Four pocket folders for specialists/class work
• One yellow highlighter
• Six pencils
• Two erasers
• One set of 12 colored pencils
• One colored pen or pencil for correcting
• One glue stick
• One standard/metric ruler
• One pair of scissors
• One zippered pencil bag (boxes tend to be too bulky for desks)
• One basic, inexpensive calculator (optional)

 

Please limit the supply items that your child brings to school to those mentioned above, as storage space is limited and nonessential items tend to be very distracting.

 

Home Supplies

Most of the items listed in the school supplies, in addition to graph paper for math homework (helps in lining up numbers for computation), should also be available at home.  If graph paper is not available, students should use lined notebook paper turned horizontally for math homework.
