PRE-REQUISTE to Advance to Algebra I in
the Eighth Grade: exemplary average in 7th
grade math class, standardized minimum score on the Iowa Algebra
Aptitude Test given at the end of the 7th grade term,
and recommendation of the 7th grade math teacher. In
addition each student should have the ability and attitude to
work and learn at a challenging pace.

PRE-REQUISTES to take Geometry A at
Pinkerton: (1) Maintain an overall grade average of 90
percent, (2) Pass (passing scores determined by the Pinkerton
Math Department) the Standarized IOWA Algebra test given by the
Pinkerton Math Department in late April/early May of the school
year, (3) Have the recommendation of the 8th grade
Algerbra I teacher, and (4) Complete the full Algebra I course.
