Library Happenings

First graders are beginning to learn library procedures such as, using shelf markers, choosing, checking out, and returning books. 

Second graders are reviewing the use of the catalog computer and how to use call numbers to locate materials.

Third grade is beginning lessons on How to Use a Dictionary.  We are using the Scholastic Children’s Dictionary.

Fourth grade students have finished “The Young Man and the Sea”.   The ending had us all on the edge of our seats.  The students will begin learning how to use a Thesaurus.  We are using the Scholastic Children’s Thesarus.
