Ms. Susan
Buck is a certified School Counselor.
She began working at
Chester
Academy in August 2005,
prior to that; she worked at
Hampstead
Central
School
for 9 years with grades 1 through 4.
She currently holds the position of Director of
Guidance. She is
responsible for supporting students, parents and staff in grades 5 through 8.
Her responsibilities include transitioning 8th grade students
to Pinkerton Academy, creating student schedules,
administration of the NECAP assessment, and coordination of 504 Plans for middle
school students.
Ms. Buck has a B.A. in Communication
Studies from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a M.Ed. in Counseling
from Rivier
College
in Nashua, NH.
Before making a career change to the field of education she worked in the
computer industry for 15 years.
Ms. Buck enjoys working with and
“learning from” students and parents on a daily basis.
