Chester Academy Curriculum
Chester Academy's Kindergarten through Eighth Grade curriculum provides
foundational skills and academic challenge to the students of Chester. Our
curriculum is standards-based and aligned to the New Hampshire Frameworks.
Chester Academy's instructional staff participate in an ongoing effort
to improve instruction and develop high quality standards-based
units, lessons and assessments to ensure that Chester Academy's
students are well prepared, motivated lifelong learners.
As we look to the future, Chester Academy has begin the transition to the newly
adopted Common Core Standards that have been adopted by most of the
states in our nation. New Hampshire's Grade level Expectations (GLEs) already
provided high standards for our students, so the transition to the Common
Core will be a smooth one for Chester Academy.
